CONGRATULATIONS EFFIE NKRUMAH & ALAN LAO – OUR INTERSECTION 2010 RESIDENCY RECIPIENTS!

It is with great excitement that UTP announces the recipients of our Intersection 2010 Residency.

Effie Nkrumah and Alan Lao are two young western Sydney emerging artists who impressed and delighted the assessment committee with their project proposal, Ama & Chan (working title). Ama and Chan are the larger than life characters created by Effie and Alan. We don’t want to give too much away before this dynamic duo starts formally developing ideas – but at this stage, their work will be a hybrid of theatre and multimedia projections in the framework of a live cooking show.
