Urban Theatre Projects' 2011 program is local, national and international, with Bankstown remaining at the heartbeat of all we do.

 

In May we premiered the new work Ama and Chan, developed with young and emerging western Sydney Artists Alan Lao and Effie Nkrumah and director Drew Fairley.

 

Also in May, STC Ed- presented Roslyn Oades' Stories of Love and Hate, first presented by UTP in 2009.

 

Our Artistic Director Alicia Talbot is developing three new works; Buried City- in collaboration with Belvoir and Sydney Festival 2012; Is this London? for the London International Festival of Theatre and a new work for Canberra100.

 

Michael Essien I want to play as you began development in Australia and Belgium whilst Intersection Developments focuses on the conceptual development of 4 new works with artists from across western Sydney.
